The Vice Chancellor, Professor Paul Waako, is on a visit to the Hunan Vocational College of Railway Technology in Chang shanan City, Hunan Province in China. During this visit, Professor Waako engaged in productive discussions with the college's management and undertook a  guided tour through the instiyute. This visit intended to explore the potential collaborations between the two  institutions, particularly in the establishment of a Railway Institute by Busitema University in Uganda. Professor Waako was  received by the College's Principal, Professor Chen Bin, Vice Dean Professor Yuan Qingwu, and Head of International School, Ms. Zhang Lin
