Top management officials from the university arrived at Arapai campus today to officiate the handover and inauguration of the new Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences. The outgoing Dean, Dr. Justine Ekou, has handed over office to the incoming Dean, Associate Professor James Peter Egonyu.

This ceremony which commenced with a procession of academic staff and students accompanied the top management officials and the two Deans took place at the Faculty's main auditorium. 

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Paul Waako, appreciated Dr. Ekou for his dedication and service to the Faculty over the past five years. He also expressed confidence in Associate Professor Egonyu's ability to lead the Faculty to even greater heights.
