In a bid to revolutionize teaching and learning, Busitema University has conducted a one-day workshop for the Heads and Directors of Academic departments focused on equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully incorporate E-learning into their teaching and learning approaches. The office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Professor Saphina Biira in collaboration with Cyber School Technology Solutions has spearheaded this educational initiative. Professor Paul Waako, the Vice Chancellor of Busitema University graced the occasion underscoring the institution’s commitment to embracing digital information. This strategic gathering aimed to foster alignment with the University’s strategic goals, enhance awareness of E-learning’s benefits, equip leaders with insights into capitalizing on digital employment trends as well as secure support and ownership of the Uganda E-learning initiative.

The workshop provided a comprehensive understanding of E-learning, its advantages and strategies for harnessing national and global trends in digital employment opportunities. Therefore, by embracing E-learning, Busitema University will be well groomed to enhance academic excellence, increase access to education and prepare students for the digital age.
