In a significant move towards fostering inclusive higher education, the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Science and Education Associate Professor David Kani Olema, accompanied by a group of dedicated students, was warmly welcomed at NBS Television on December 16, 2023. The purpose of their visit was to shed light on the Higher Education Access Certificate (HEAC) program, emphasizing its role in paving the way for accessible and equitable higher education.

The event, held at the NBS Television studios, provided a platform for the dean and students to articulate the various dimensions of the HEAC program, aimed at creating a more inclusive and diverse landscape in higher education. The initiative focuses on breaking down barriers that hinder access to quality education, promoting equal opportunities for all aspiring students as said by Mr Masereka in his speech that notably suggested that students through this program outshine the direct entry students to many Bachelor's Programs.

The Dean of Faculty of Science and Education stressed that this program has shaped the country's education system to a more lighter level and the world at large since all other professional courses get products from Universities.
