Students from University of Twente Visit Busitema University for Community Project Exchange

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology hosted two Master Students from University of Twente, Netherlands, who are pursuing a Master in Humanitarian Engineering, for a period of five days under the students’ exchange programme.

The purpose of the visit was to benchmark with Busitema University on how  projects that solve challenges in communities were approached

Students interacted with staff and students who have worked on projects/prototypes developed to solve challenges in the communities.

The students also visited one of the community farmers, Mr. Make Peter Etiang, a retired Senior Agricultural Officer and a resident of Ndaiga Village, Busitema Sub-County where  they had a great interaction with him, The farmer acknowledged the  impact of the University to the community
