The Academic Registrar, Busitema University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to skills based practical short course certificate programmes under Stanbic Bank sponsorship scheme for the 2024 intake aiming at Skills Development on short term basis of 6 months. The scholarships will pay the fees required by the University excluding accommodation

The scholarship is in the following the areas

1. Welding and metal part fabrication,
2. Post-harvest handling & processing technologies,
3. Irrigation technologies & Innovations,
4. Automotive repair, operation & Maintenance.
5. Brick laying and Concrete Practice.

The scholarship is open to candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Must be hailing from the following districts: Busia, Pallisa, Tororo, Soroti, Mbale, Kamuli and Butebo
• Have have proof of Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) completion.
• Uganda Certificate of Education (DCE) is an added advantage
• Should be a Ugandan of not more than 35 years old.
• Should not hold any other scholarship

• Ensure that the form is endorsed by the LCV Chairperson of the targeted District before Submission.
